For my final project, I was asked to create a 2d platformer that used stop motion in four hours. Extra credit was awarded for an original soundtrack, implementation of a teacher into the game, and every level up to five.

The project that my group made was one based on one of our professors, Lawrence Neuberger. The title is a play on words, as a game involves screen-shot-2015-12-16-at-2-01-15-am.pngLawrence’s head rolling and jumping from platform to platform to reach a magic object at the end of every level (each being a separate component of a burger) to grant the player access to the next level. The game has 5 levels and gets progressively harder. The game uses all real world pictures taken inside the building where we have class.

The soundtrack features 8-bit renditions of “All by Myself” by Eric Carmen as well as “We Are the Champions” by Queen. The music that plays during gameplay I created myself during the 4 hour time period.

The game is fairly difficult, as the physics are hard to get used to. Overall, I would say that my group was successful and that our game was fairly enjoyable, especially for being made in such a short time period.
