Production 1 Lighting Critique

For this critique, I will be reviewing a photo taken with unique lighting taken by Ian Potash, pictured below.


This photo features a key light coming from the right side of the photo. This causes the subject of the photo to have a shadow that takes up the left side of the picture. This creates an interesting effect, because, in this instance, the subject has a large silhouette. The photo features warm colors. The red hue can be mostly seen on the subject’s face as well as the wall behind the subject. The photo could be more appealing if it was in focus.
