Walk Cycle

Animate a character walking with minimum of four steps.

Walk Cycle:

CLASS CRITIQUE:

Needs more wrist movement

Needs more elbow bending

Fingers are locked in claws

Everything is in sync – joints need to move at different times

 

This was my first time using a character rig, and it was difficult learning how to properly use all of the handles. I restarted this project numerous times before coming up with a good method of animating each step. After many tries it finally started to make sense. This project taught me about how the human body truly moves when it is walking, and taught me to pay attention to my own body, and notice how each of my joints move.
