Three Bouncing Balls

Animate three different weighted balls individually as they fall, hit the ground, and settle.

Ball one:

Ball never goes back in to the shape of a sphere

Ball Two:

Floats above ground level at the end

Looks too slow

Ball 3:

Needs more squash and stretch


This project was to help teach me the fundamentals of basic animation. In order to properly accomplish a smooth, natural looking animation I needed to pay close attention to certain elements such as timing and spacing. I also had to consider the material that each ball was made out of and how it squashed and stretched, to make the animation appear natural. This was a good test of my skills, and a great learning exercise and I feel as though I was successful in creating a smooth natural looking animation.
