My assignment this week entailed making a caricature of myself.  To make my caricature look effective, I used varied line weight.  I tried to use a thicker line around more structural features such as the jawline, and nose.  I used a thinner line for things that lied flatter on the face such as the eyes, and mouth.  Overall, the piece is very organic and is very smooth.  This gives the piece more life and makes it seem much more believable.  The piece is also very balanced, the only thing throwing it off is the hair pulling more weight on the left side than the right.  I lightly shaded around the eyes to give the picture more realism, and to make the eyes pop.
